The founder of Performance Racing, Ray Neltner Sr., passed away during the 2003 racing season. On the day of his funeral, current and past drivers for Performance Racing, as well as crew members honored Mr. Neltner. Performance Racing fans, if you look at the rear spoiler on the 2004 version of the 75 car you will see the caption "Brickman The Legend Lives On"
